2014-2015 Exhibition Update
Our Wellness: Ringing the Well Bell
Week 5 1/2 Update
This week, our minds have been busy dwelling on one question: How are we incorporating our research into our creative component of the Exhibition process?
Students are asking some of these types of questions: Have I included the key ideas that I gathered from my research? Am I clear, concise, and effective in delivering my message? Do I have enough evidence to support my thinking? Am I saying what I mean?
We are at one of the most demanding parts of the process: The "pulling it altogether." So, we would appreciate your help. You can help us by:
1. Join us in the classrooms if you can! Please send an email to Mrs. Murray, letting us know you have a few hours during the weeks of December 1 and December 8. Our task is specific to editing/revising the scripts with an eye on: transitions, accuracy, appropriateness.
2. Ask your child to share the group's script with you, and then read it for:
- transitions (are the group's ideas flowing naturally?),
- accuracy (is there enough research to support the group's claims?), and
- appropriateness (is our language appropriate for the audience?).
Reflective
We work towards understanding our strengths and areas in need of improvement to support our learning and growth towards reaching our goals.
Confidence
Students develop confidence and personal
responsibility as they indulge in meaningful conversations with their peers.
Respect
So, you would like to volunteer?
Please reach out to Mrs. Murray at esra_murray@greenwich.k12.ct.us and let her know:
