Pine Road Grows Great Kids

September 23, 2021

Dear Pine Road Families,

It is hard to believe that we are already wrapping up the first month of the 21-22 school year! While this year has certainly had challenges, it is very rewarding to gradually return to normalcy. We have been able to host in-person events and PTA meetings, welcomed our families back during in-person back-to-school nights, and our 5th graders are heading to Camp America for our first field trip in over a year!

Now that we have the vast majority of our students learning in person, please refer to some important updates from the health room!

I am also thrilled to introduce the Pine Road Community Connections website. This will serve as a spot for us to celebrate and recognize various occasions throughout the year! Stay tuned for updates!

Thank you to our entire school community for your continued support and assistance in following our various protocols to support this return to a more traditional school year!

Pine Road Highlights

Cafeteria Reminder

Lunch menus are posted on a new interactive website, Nutrislice. Our innovative and interactive site and mobile app make our school menus more convenient and informative than ever before! Download the Nutrislice App from the App Store or get it on Google Play and search Lower Moreland.

Free breakfast and lunch for anyone 18 years old and younger was extended through the 21-22 school year! Students can eat breakfast and lunch in school for free! Please email Ms. Logan Myers at if interested in picking up.

Walker Pick-Up Protocol

With many families utilizing the walker line this year (many for the first time!), a few reminders will allow us to ensure safety and efficiency for all.

    • All walkers must cross Pine Road at the designated crosswalk under the guidance of the School Crossing Guard.

    • Students must be signed out in the afternoon by their parents/guardians and Photo Identification must be presented. A staff member will be at the front lobby of the building to sign out students. (Parents may not park their cars in the school lot and pick up student walkers.)

    • Please be mindful of the Car-Line Dismissal that occurs concurrently with walker dismissal to limit interruptions and allow or the safe dismissal of students.
