Most animals migrate or hibernate during the year. Most animals don't live around the Tundra and mostly mammals and bird use this place just for a summer. Animals survive in the Tundra during the winter by growing large amounts of hair, and finding good places to stay warm.
Tundra Swan
Tundra Swan 114-140 cm (45-55 inches), Family: Ducks, Geese,Swans, and this swans diet is Aquatic Plants.
Snowy Owl
The Snowy Owl 52-65 cm (20 1/2 - 25 1/2 inches), Family: Owls, and its diet is small mammals.
Musk Ox
The large Musk Ox is 1.9-2.3 m (6 1/4-7 1/2 ft) , tail: 9-10 cm (3 1/2-4 in) Family: Bovids, and its diet is Grass, Moss, Leaves, Lichen.
About the Gyrfalcon
This bird is 51-63 cm (20-25 in), Family (Falcons), The site says their no threat to other animals. The Gyrfalcon is the largest of the falcons, Birds are its main prey although it feeds on some mammals mostly in the winter.
