School Calendar

The 2021-2022 school calendar was approved by the school board at the March meeting. Please note that we currently have no school scheduled for Monday, February 21, 2022, but this is subject to change based on possible need. One other change for next school year is that we are finishing first semester before Christmas break with finals also taking place before break. Second semester begins right after Christmas break.

Smarter Balanced - SBACs

State standardized tests are coming soon. All students in grades 3 - 8 will take the tests the week of April 12 from 8 - 10 in the morning. All students in these grade levels will test in Redwater. Having students present and on time for school every day that week is extremely important. We want to avoid as many make up tests as possible. We want students to get a good night's rest each night before testing and have a healthy breakfast. Please contact Mrs. Murrell or Mrs. Hubing if you have any questions.

Spelling Bee

The spelling bee for grades 1 - 4 and students from Vida will take place on April 29. More information will be coming home soon with classroom teachers.

C&B Day - High School Students

C&B are partnering with MSU Northern and are having a C&B Day on campus on May 7th. All high school students interested in either Diesel or Agriculture should look into this! We are looking at possibly getting a bus to go on this day for students and parents. This looks like a great opportunity for some hands-on activities as well as career planning. Please see Mrs. Hubing ASAP if you are interested or want more information.

Dismissal Procedures

Just a reminder that the bus drive is CLOSED to any traffic from 3:20 to 3:50 when buses depart. Parents should park behind the courthouse or on the street to come pick up their children from Bo Peep. We have lots of children walking around that area during dismissal, and we want to make sure everyone is safe. Thank you for your help with this!

Adult Lunch Accounts

We know that some of our parents love to come and eat breakfast and/or lunch with their child. With the recent system updates to Infinite Campus, there are no longer adult lunch accounts for our parents. If you would like to come and have breakfast or lunch with your child, please bring cash with you. Exact change is helpful. The cost of an adult breakfast is $2.25 and an adult lunch is $3.25.

Sports Schedules

We are doing our best to keep everyone updated on sports schedules for both junior high and high school. They are constantly changing due to COVID, so please be patient with us. You can check the Weekly Wildcat Events update on Facebook when it is posted on Mondays as they will be the most accurate at that time.

Food Service - Free Breakfast and Lunch

Beginning October 1, all students in the district will receive free breakfast and lunch through December 31. The Summer Food Program through the USDA has expanded their program and Circle students are eligible during this time.

** This program has been extended through June 30, 2021!! All students currently enrolled in Circle Public Schools will receive free breakfast and lunch through the remainder of the school year.
