Jordan/Jackson News You Can Use
Tuesday, August 24, 2021
Dear Jordan/Jackson Students and Families,
It is always an honor and privilege to officially welcome all of you to a new school year. Clearly there are so many things that are so different about our lives and school now. However, it was great to have all students back, fully for in-person learning in April.
We are anxiously looking forward to starting the 2021/2022 school year. We will continue to place an emphasis on supporting students’ social and emotional well-being, especially at the start of the year. We are dedicated to investing time to get to know students and families. We know that the strong social and emotional connections we make with each other will lead to a strong school culture and continued academic successes. Our teachers and academic support staff are keenly aware of the impact on learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have targeted supports and plans in place to intervene and help all students reach their goals. In addition, we will look to capitalize on the many positive changes to our instructional practices that have developed over the same period.
Please know that no question is too small. We are all here to support each other and share the common goal of supporting every student to achieve their individual goals. We look forward to a successful and fun year together.
