Parents,
It's the last week of school! We can't believe it is already time for another year to come to a close. It has been a great year, and we look forward to all of our students enjoying some family time, as well as the staff enjoying some time with their families. Sharpening your saw and synergizing with loved ones is very important. Before we do so, we have a packed week! Please see the Tuscany Heights Happenings below for details.

Tuscany Happenings
MONDAY, June 3rd- PreK Story time @ 9:30 with Mr. Bill Taylor, KENS5 Meteorologist; Kindergarten Celebration of Learning 12-1pm
TUESDAY, June 4th- 3rd Grade Battle of the Books @ 8:15am
WEDNESDAY, June 5th- Bill Perryman's 4th & 5th Grade Presentation between 8-11am
THURSDAY, June 6th- LAST DAY OF SCHOOL for students, and
5th Grade Celebration Ceremony @8:15am in the Cafeteria (approximately an hour & half)
*Remember school aged students are not permitted to attend since this event takes place during the school day even if they have been signed out of school. This is a district rule that is enforced.
August 2019-20 Meet the Teacher- August 15th Prek- 5th grade 4:30-6:30pm (More info coming at the start of the year)
Reaching New Heights, Tuscany Heights PTA
Special PTA Membership Meeting June 3rd at 2:00pm
All Tuscany Heights Elementary PTA Members are invited to attend a Special PTA Membership Meeting on Monday June 3rd at 2:00pm in room 206 (PTA room in 5th grade hallway). This will be a short meeting, we will only address the following three items: 1) final budget amendments and budget for 2019-2020 school year, 2) bank signers for 2019-2020 school year, 3) election of Stephanie Waite as PTA President for the 2019-2020 school year.
5th Grade End of Year Ceremony
All 5th grade families are invited to attend our 5th Grade End of Year Ceremony on Thursday June 6th at 8:15am in the cafeteria. RSVP flyers went home with students last week, be sure to fill those out and return to school so we can plan ahead for seating.
Open Executive Board Positions
We are still in the process of filling the Tuscany Heights PTA Officer and Committee Chair positions for the 2019-2020 school year, and we need YOU! A list of brief descriptions of each available officer and committee chair position are listed on a document attached to this eblast, or you can contact president@tuscanyheightspta.org for more information. If you enjoy school wide events like Field Day, Bike Rodeo, Family Dances, Run for the Heights with Boosterthon, and also want your students to enjoy field trips, assemblies and STEAM presentations throughout the year, then please consider stepping up and joining our amazing THE PTA.
