News From Room 211, February 2, 2016
Hello, families! We're finally back in school and rolling along. It is so good getting back into our routine. I will say the children loved all the snow!
We will be wrapping up mClass testing Tuesday and Wednesday. Students will take a MAP reading test Tuesday on the computer and a MAP math test on Wednesday. The only thing left to do is see where individuals need to review or be enriched. At that time I will be sending a note home to schedule conferences.
Report cards went home yesterday. If you have questions or concerns, you may email, call the classroom, or write me a note. Those students absent yesterday received their report cards today.
We had an opportunity to watch the Tuvan throat singers during an assembly yesterday. It was so interesting, and I've included a link below.
We have started the 3rd quarter. I will send home graded work on Thursday. You may keep the work or if your child wants to redo work, you may have your child return the work on Friday.
As always, I appreciate the support you show your child and our class. It is truly appreciated.
Thank you,
Holly
