We are off to a great start! Students are readjusting to school as the first marking period comes to an end.
Please remember that the traffic can get very tricky on 8th street. We encourage students to walk to school. If you are dropping off, please assure that your child crosses 8th street at the corner of Church and 8th for their safety.
Picture day is complete! Retake day is scheduled for October 25, 2021.
The Penn State and Career and Technology Center nurses visited in September and helped with our screenings! They completed over 1000 in two days! What a great service they provided for our school! A great big thank you to the team!
We look forward to conferences on October 12th and 13th. If you prefer a zoom conference please let your child's teachers know.
Please encourage your children to wear their reusable masks! We have provided at least one to every student. We are running low on disposable masks.
LMS is a great place to be and our language and actions need to reflect that. Some students are using profane and inappropriate language which is offensive to many who are hearing it. We have over 1100 people in this building and we need to be in this space peacefully. Please speak to your children about the importance of appropriate and kind language and actions in school. We are stressing that here and appreciate your support.
We look forward to a wonderful year!
