CVHS Counseling Weekly Update
December 4, 2020
Sophomores (Class of 2023)...the results are in...
With the data we collected so far, we put together some "word clouds"--a word cloud is a picture of the words mentioned frequently. The larger the word the more frequently it was mentioned.
So, Sophomores, here's what you collected responded when your counselors asked these quesitons:
One word you would use to describe yourself?
What are you grateful for?
Name an activity you enjoy doing...
What topics would you like to learn more about?
Sophomores...Did you miss meeting your counselor?
If you didn't get a chance to participate in our Sophomore survey, here is a link because we want to know what everyone is thinking: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=CeokmDkVAEKtn9jDQ0XYJ1g5w1tqy5lIrr0I7bHsrihUMjc4UURRQVZHNUlKT0ZNRjFFRVpQQTZDRC4u

Class of 2021-Every Senior should Complete the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) NOW
- It's free!
- It only takes 30 minutes to complete

Completing the FAFSA early will maximize your student aid eligibility.

Help our school get in the top 10 by going to FAFSA.gov ASAP to complete the free application for federal application for federal student aid. The sooner you act, the better chance you have to qualify for FREE money. Don’t miss out! For your convenience, there is a MyStudentAid app you can download on your phone to complete the FAFSA. Dual Enrollment Process for Buying Books
Recommended process for purchasing books for the Winter 2021 semester is in-store shopping. We recommend that students return their Fall 2020 books at the time that they purchase their Winter 2021 books.
With COVID-19 protocols in place, both stores will have occupancy limitations. There will also be socially distant queuing lines designated in the buildings for students waiting to enter the bookstore. As a result, students may experience a longer wait time.
Fall 2020 textbook rentals are due on December 14th. Rental return and book buy back will be handled in a designated area within each of the bookstore locations.
