Reading Rodeo Celebration!

To celebrate the end of a fabulous March is Reading Month, we will be having a celebration in classrooms on Friday, March 29. Students that met their grade level reading goal will get to participate in two fun-filled activities!

1) Students will get to watch a movie! In grades K-2, student will watch "An American Tail: Fievel Goes West." This is a rated G animated film. In grades 3-5, students will watch "Horse Crazy." This is an Amazon Prime original movie. It is not rated, but Common Sense Media says it is appropriate for ages 6 and up. Parents are encouraged to go to read the review on Common Sense Media by clicking here.

2) Students will also participate in a series of fun rotations. They will learn a country line dance and play some western-themed games.

Students that did not meet the grade level reading goal will not participate in these activities. Instead, they will read and complete schoolwork like any normal day.

Thank you to all parents for helping to make reading a priority this month, and every month!

Please check out our March is Reading Month website for specific information. Here's the address: Thank you!
