Spring Break Next Week!

Argyle ISD is wishing all our Eagles a safe, relaxing and fun spring break. All schools and offices will be closed from March 14-18. Students and staff will return to regular schedules on Monday, March 21. As a reminder, all schools will be open on the designated bad weather day on Thursday, April 14. This is due to Argyle ISD being closed for inclement winter weather in late February.


All students and staff will be out on Friday, April 15 for a school holiday.

Community Bond Presentations Begin March 22

Argyle ISD will have the first of several opportunities to hear more information about the bond election on Tuesday, March 22. This presentation will be held at the Harvest Hall Community Center, located at 1300 Homestead Way. Superintendent Dr. Telena Wright will provide details of how the bond was developed and information about the proposal and student enrollment growth.


Parents and community members are invited to attend.

Argyle High School's One-Act Play Competes Saturday

Come out on Saturday and support the Argyle High School One-Act Play! The Theatre Department will perform Lost Girl in the bi-district competition and is coming off winning the district championship. The following students were recognized for their performances at the district competitions.

AHS' One-Act Play will begin at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the AHS auditorium and admission is free.

Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders Visit Argyle Intermediate!

Argyle Intermediate School had a few special guest readers visit the campus last week. In celebration of Read Across America, five Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders visited multiple fifth-grade classes, read books and engaged with students.

Argyle Education Foundation Gala Coming April 23

The Argyle Education Foundation is hosting its annual gala on Saturday, April 23 at Robson Ranch. Click here to become a sponsor today. Mark Your Calendars! AISD Hosting Cultural Night March 29

Argyle ISD families be sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 29. The district will host Cultural Night for the community from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Argyle Middle School.


Each school in the district will have a booth at the event. The event will include food, fashion, arts and crafts and music. More information will be available as the event draws nearer.

Get Your Tickets to the Majestics VINTAGE Performance!

The Argyle High School Majestics Drill will present Vintage on Saturday, April 2 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The performances will be held in the Argyle High School auditorium. VIP tickets are $15 per person and general admission are $10. Follow the QR code for more information and to purchase tickets.

School Board Trustee Election May 7

Argyle ISD will hold a School Board Trustee election on May 7. The deadline for candidates to file for a place on the ballot was last Friday. Two places will be on the ballot (Place 6 and Place 7) The following are the candidates for the two School Board seats that are up for election:

Sign your student up today for a FREE heart screening! The screenings will be held at the Shoot for the Stars Event on Saturday, April 30. See the flyer below for more details.

Lady Eagles=District Soccer Champs

The Lady Eagle soccer team secured their 4th consecutive district championship last Saturday with a 5-0 victory against Carrollton Ranchview. The victory included two goals apiece by Emma Sheehan and Sophie Placke. The Lady Eagles return to action Friday at Eagle Stadium when they host Castleberry at 5:30 p.m.

The Eagles also host Castleberry on Friday and their game will follow the girls at 7:30 p.m.

Eagle Powerlifters Earn Top 10 Finishes

The Eagles competed this week at the Region VI Division 2 Meet in Kennedale. Argyle qualified six and four finished in the top 10 in their weight class!
