Ideas:
- Students record their original story or poetry and email to the parents.
- ELL/ESL students enhance reading/listening skills by listening or emailing their video to the teacher or their parents.
- Students in foreign language classes record themselves and listen or email to the teacher.
- Speech students record their speeches and email to the teacher instead of having every student give their speech in class.

Flipquiz is a Jeopardy-style game that is great for reviewing information. Divide your class into two teams and start playing! Flipquiz is ideal for interactive whiteboards, but it will work with a computer and a projector.

Trading Cards
Trading Cards by Read Write Think allows students to share their understanding of various topics. Available on the Web and as an app for IOS and Android.
Create trading cards for any number of categories, including:
- Fictional person
- Real person
- Fictional place
- Real place
- Object
- Event
- Vocabulary word
Hetemeel
- Open the site and type your message.
- Click Preview Image (you might have to play with the spacing).
- Right click on your image and select Save As.
- Navigate to the location where you want to save your image.
Hetemeel has other designs available, but not all of them are appropriate for school!
PicLits
PicLits will inspire creativity in writers of all ages. Students select a picture from a large collection of images and then use the drag and drop method to select words to describe the image.

EdPuzzle is a site that allows teachers to choose or upload a video and customize it by and add questions to create an engaging interactive lesson.
- Open EdPuzzle.com.
- Click Login.
- Select Student.
- If you do not have an account, select Sign Up at the bottom of the screen. (no email required)
- Click Join.
- Type in the Code uhaduso
- Click Join the Class.
- Choose the Blue Start Button under the video.
- Click the Play button to begin the assignment.
