BJHS Junior Varsity Cross Country
We are so proud of the way the Bob Jones Junior Varsity Cross Country teams have been representing our school this season. Both the male and female teams have had a very successful start to their season, placing within the top three teams overall at most meets. Several of our runners have also consistently placed within the top fifteen individuals at most races. Ami Marks, Illene Pour-Biazar, Alexa Skelley, and Bonnie Halter have been leading the pack for our BJXC ladies. Ami Marks has placed within the top five of every race this year, and was recently moved up to run with the varsity team. Jake Bryan, Oscar Nichols, Caleb Cooke, James Holt, Owen Johnston, Connor Nicholson have also been great assets to the guys’ BJXC team this year. Jake Bryan has placed within the top five at many of his races this season. We are so proud of the success these teams have had thus far, and look forward to both teams competing in the Alabama Gold Series State Championships on October 23,2021.

Showing School Spirit: Military Night & Color Throw
This year we have celebrated all of our football games with a theme. We honored our veterans with a military night. BJHS ROTC presented the flag during the playing of the national anthem. Before the Sparkman game, we did a color throw and the students had a blast tossing color all over each other and being a part of the spirit tunnel when the players ran out!
