Plaintiff And Defendants
A plaintiff is the person making the charge against another person (defendant). He or She start's the paperwork with the courts and the courts send a summons to the defendant who must defending his or her self against the said accusations in a court of law.

Is what happens before a trial, the parties go over information dealing with the case and civil laws and rights that are involved. Basically this there outline for everything.
During Trial
A plaintiff will say his complaint, and you will hear the defendant pleading. They will both have to preponderance of evidence ( have to have evidence to help your case). After the Appeal the jury will come to a verdict and ether the plaintiff or the defendant will when win.
