Like a trail guide, an excellent language teacher works with students before, during, and after each venture to ensure their success. An excellent language teacher often has a craftsman’s sensibility and vitality to create thought-provoking products— in this case, rigorous, differentiated unit/lesson plans that ask students to extend their learning. And, most importantly, being an excellent ELL Teacher requires inexhaustible kindness. Johanna Chausow is one such person. The Provo City School District Board of Education is excited to introduce Wendy Dau as the new Provo City School District Superintendent. Wendy joins PCSD from Canyons School District where she has served in various roles. Please take a moment to read her introduction letter below and to view the video to learn more about her. Starting September 2023, Provo City School District will be changing medical insurance to offer a much broader network for contracted employees and their dependents.

The Provo City School District nurses are offering summer training on CPR/AED/First Aid and Stop the Bleed. The CPR certification is valid for two years and costs $15.00. Learn more on the employee website. post exp.8.2
