Seniors! Don't forget!
Lee's Summit R-7 Senior Class,
As you begin to count down the days toward graduation, we would like to give you notice about your school email and Google Drive account. Your account will remain active through June 2016, however if you are communicating with colleges, places of employment, the military, etc. you need to make arrangements to move material to a personal account upon graduation.
There is no action needed at this time. We simply want to begin to remind you that you will only have a small window of time upon graduation to transfer any documents out to another Google account or download files that you want to save to your own personal computer.
This video will show you two options available to you for getting items out of your LSR7Google Drive. Please try to do this within 30 days of graduation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jp7oyJfHm0
If you have been using the @lsr7.net email account to communicate with colleges or other entities about your career plans, please begin notifying these entities and giving them an updated email address. Gmail addresses are available at no cost, so if you do not have a personal email account, you should consider getting one at this time.
The technology department wishes you the best as you graduate from the Lee's Summit R-7 School District.

UMKC School of Medicine Summer Scholars Program
The Summer Scholars Program for 2016 will be a three-week experience. The Program is designed to attract students from groups who have been traditionally under-represented in medical school, including economically disadvantaged, minority and rural students. Students who have also expressed a specific interest in medicine and/or health careers and have taken courses and received grades that reflect that interest will be given preference.
This year, the Program will be conducted from July 11, 2016 and will conclude on July 28, 2016. The program will consist of weekday sessions from 7:50 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program is free— no tuition is charged for program participation.
