SAVE THE DATE! - PSAT / ACT / SAT Information Night - Wednesday, Jan 22nd - 6 PM - MPR
Your CHS counselors and CHS PTO are excited to host a PSAT night in January. There will be an expert in test preparation guest speaker to discuss your student’s PSAT (Preliminary SAT) scores. It would be helpful if you bring your student’s PSAT report to this meeting for an interpretation of the scores. Information will be presented regarding the role of the PSAT in college admissions, guide for future test preparation, and SAT vs. ACT comparison.
Our PSAT night is scheduled for Wednesday, January 22nd at 6pm in the Multipurpose Room on the CHS campus (MPR) – we look forward to seeing you there!

Leadership Opportunity for Juniors
Dear Junior Class Parents:
The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, or RYLA, is a program sponsored by Rotary International for the purpose of encouraging students to become more effective leaders. Through participation in an all-expense paid 3-day camp, the students are inspired by a diverse group of exceptional nationally-recognized speakers, they experience personal growth through a mix of fun and thought-provoking activities, and they are challenged by opportunities to discuss ethical and social issues. The result is that these students return to their school and community motivated to take on additional leadership roles and to find additional ways to serve.
Rotary looks for high school juniors who are school and/or community leaders with a strong service background or those students who are leaders-in-the-making with a demonstrated commitment to service. We encourage your student to apply!
