Spaghetti Sauce

Flour

Healthy Snacks for students

Soups

Tuesday's Staff Meeting Canceled

I routinely share information received the prior week from my district-level principal meeting. However, there were only a couple of items so I presented them to TLC yesterday. Please review the TLC notes with your grade chair so you are informed regarding staffing, summer school, etc. You may leave at 3 PM on Tuesday...shh; don't tell. I will know who read Staff Stuff. :-)

Grab and Go Breakfast

Due to the stage setup in preparation for Fine Arts Night and the grade level programs, Thursday and Friday. Thanks.

Coach Endorsement

Please let me know if you would like to be nominated for this program. Thanks.

The Office of Staff Development is currently accepting principal and supervisor
recommendations for the 2015- 2016 Coach Endorsement Program. The Gwinnett County Public Schools Coach Endorsement is an approved program by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission that requires a year-long course of study on effective coaching practices and facilitating team development. Upon completion of the year-long program of study, participants will earn a Coaching Endorsement add-on to their teaching certificate.

We will launch the program this summer with our Coach Camp which will be held at the Gwinnett School of Science, Mathematics, and Technology, July 6-11, 2015 from 8:30 am-4:00 pm daily.

A commitment to this program of study will also require participants to provide coaching support in their local school, building capacity to improve and sustain quality instruction. Participants will facilitate the practices they are learning in the program through practical application during the school year. The implementation of these practices will be guided by the development of a Professional Growth Plan. In addition, candidates will attend regularly scheduled seminars and participate in the facilitation of professional learning. In its entirety, the program will require 100 hours of successful participation for completion.

The following is a timeline of processes to follow after we receive your recommended candidate names:
April 3, 2015 Application Deadline
April 20, 2015 Candidates will be notified of acceptance status
April 29, 2015 Coach Endorsement Orientation for Candidates and Administrators
