Christmas Jumper Day!
Hello everyone! Today is Christmas Jumper Day! This means that everyone must (if they want to) wear a Christmas jumper and donate at least £1. All the donations will go to the charity ‘Save the Children’. This event is hosted by them but in our school, it is hosted by Daphni in Grade 10. If you have any questions, contact Daphni.
Secret Santa:
Everyone one who is participating in the Secret Santa. The gifts have to be brought in by Monday. Please leave your present in F01 in the morning before advisory. The gift has to at most 5 pounds. You can receive your gift at break time in F01.

Notice from the Holiday Committee:
Hello, we are the holiday committee and we are raising awareness for a charity called Kids Company, which is a charity for poor children living in London. We would like to ask if you have any boxes or shoe boxes, if you could bring them into school and donate them. We will wrap them and send them to the charity. The charity will then fill them with presents and give them to the children. Thank you for your help!
Also:
We would like to decorate our school, if you want to collaborate with us please bring either a decoration or some money to help us. Any religions decorations are welcome!

If you are currently in grades 9 or 10 and are considering a career in film, cinematography, screenplay writing etc.? Please email Ms. McDonald or see her in FO3 to find out about open days at the MET film school. MET film school is the UK's answer to Hollywood and some of the top films from the UK have been produced and directed there.

One of the strand of the SA programme is building Halcyon community for this reason four of the members of the Holiday Committee are organising a Secret Santa for the whole school. If you like to participate please come a see Christine, Alexia, Catherine and Charlie S during morning break today.

Battery Recycling Box:
Batteries are very dangerous for our environment and they are commonly used by us everyday and it is our job to recycle them. There is a brand new battery recycling box in the science lab, please bring in any used batteries and place them in the box.
