Denison's LinkedIn Career Communities
Earlier this semester, our team launched the Career Communities Initiative focused on connecting you with members of the Denison community who can act as career resources. We need you to participate by joining the LinkedIn subgroups of the "Denison University Network" group that align with your interests (see options below).
· Denisonians in Healthcare
· Denisonians in Business & Finance
· Denisonians in Law
· Denisonians in Communication & Marketing
· Denisonians in the Arts
· Denisonians in Service & Education
Steps: If you have not already, please create a LinkedIn profile (see profile tips) and join the “Denison University Network” in the Groups section. Once you are approved, return to the group's main page and then scroll down until you see the list of subgroups on the right side of the page. Click on the subgroup(s) of your choice and then click the yellow “Join” button on the top right.
FAQ: Can I apply for a summer internship stipend?
Denison University is fortunate to have multiple partnerships with generous alumni and external organizations. Through these partnerships, the Denison Internship Program is able to support a stipend system linked to students completing UNPAID summer internships.
Internship stipends are awarded to students based on a formal application process that includes a student-generated budget in addition to an institutional assessment of one's financial need, campus conduct, and academic eligibility. Students will be able to begin accessing the stipend application by/before March 1.
To kickstart the summer internship search, students are encouraged to log into DULink and search "DULink Jobs" listed on the "Jobs" drop-down tab. While there are multiple ways of identifying quality internships, DULink offers many postings linked to alumni, parents, and friends of the college. Use your break to learn more about what's already out there!
