Hour of Code Introduction

How does coding fit with what we are suppose to be teaching our students?

There are Ohio Academic Technology Content Standards (2003) and even International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards for students. Regardless of which you want to follow or go by, computer science and learning the basics of coding is at the root of many of the strands. A student will problem solve, use critical thinking skills, collaborate, and communicate with others during this coding experience. WARNING... it can be very addicting to both adults and students! You have been forewarned.
