Knights News !!!!
October 23 - 27
Dear Families,
Our Knights continue to work hard each day with their academic, social, physical and emotional learning with the help of the caring adults in the building. Another week of proud moments, that's for sure!
We appreciate the support of our educators and community members in providing extra-curricular activities and supports for kids. We know this helps all students feel a sense of belonging and give an opportunity to connect with others in a unique way outside of classroom learning. Our running club, Terry Fox walk, Good Sart food program, Soccer teams, School Council, reading buddies, Yard Pals, and Spirit Club are great examples.
Sports
Thirteen Knights qualified for and competed in the district Cross-Country meet on October 19th - way to make us proud! On Thursday our senior soccer team also competed in the ESS soccer tournament winning silver and bronze. The World cup of soccer was fun for all on Friday. Volleyball is starting up soon.
Fundraising
There are a couple of great fundraising initiatives underway right now. Little Caesars, wreaths and planters are available to purchase. Purchasing deadlines for these initiatives are coming out, so let your friends and family know to order through you to support our school!

Soctober
Socks continue to roll in but more are needed for us to reach our goal of 1, 802. This would bring our total school contribution over the years to 10, 000 pairs!! That's a lot of socks!! There will be a colour house assembly on Nov. 3rd to announce the total as well as the winning colour house and classroom......who will get a pie in the face? Stay tuned to find out.
Need more encouragement? Wednesday will be "Wacky Sock Wednesday"....so wear your wacky socks and bring some to donate to our growing pile!
Looking forward to another great week ahead!

Candy Cane Lane
Greetings to the Families of Bath Public School,
Have some items you would like to donate or ‘re-gift’? The 2024 graduates of Bath Public School are looking for quality donations of any sort. This year our grade 8 class of Bath PS will once again be hosting Candy Cane Lane! This annual tradition is an exciting holiday shopping event for our students and a fundraiser for our graduating class. We are looking for gently used items, handmade items, toys, games, books, holiday decorations and candles. We’re also looking for tissue paper, gift boxes, gift bags etc. Any and all support would be much appreciated. Please drop these off school by Friday December 1st.
Thank you,

School Trips and Volunteers
Throughout the year, we may ask for parent/guardian volunteers on school trips or for various classroom and school activities. The wait time for obtaining a CPIC (background check with vulnerable sector screening) can be lengthy. As such, if you think you would be willing to assist with a trip or school event in the future, please consider obtaining a CPIC with vulnerable sector screening completed, beforehand.
Bath School Advisory Council
Our fabulous parent council is looking for new members! If you would like to be a part of this great team, please come to our next meeting on Tuesday October 17th at 6:30pm. We are looking forward to meeting in the library. Please let us know if you can make it and if you will require childcare. We are pleased to be able to provide it during the meeting for those who require it.
