VANWAGNEN NEWS
Have you heard about our recently adopted Move This World program at CES and CUES? Many students open and close their day with a short and engaging video to help develop emotional management strategies, empathy, resilience, conflict resolution skills and more. The program integrates seamlessly into the school day and creates a common language for emotional expression and management throughout the school building. When you have an opportunity, have a conversation with your your child about this positive addition to our school and find out which of the 10 Emogers is their favorite!

Counselor's Corner
Would you like to mentor a student but don’t have time to come to school during the day? If you would like to be part of a program called “TERRIFIC KIDS,” you would be partnered with a child who would benefit from your support. You can write them notes of encouragement and deliver them to our office or mail them, give your student little gifts from time to time, leave them a treat for their lunch, etc. If you are interested in being a mentor for TERRIFIC KIDS, please email Krista.Schatzle@myeagles.org or call 517-592-2181.
If you believe your child would benefit from having a mentor from this program, please email Mrs. Schatzle at Krista.Schatzle@myeagles.org
