Lead Learner Highlights

It looks like winter has finally hit. We've had two snow days and are braving the cold but that didn't stop the learning happening at KP. Check out our Twitter feed above to see it in action.

I hope that you are enjoying the start to winter recess. Unless a student needs to make up work, KP teachers have made this a homework-free weekend. We wish all of you a rejuvenating long weekend.

KP Students this is an opportunity to demonstrate your care and concern for others. This fundraiser will help support KP families in need. Even if you sold one butter braid, it would make a difference.

These delicious Butter Braid Pastries are a welcome addition to any meal. All funds raised will be used to support KP families in times of need.

March 2nd - All order forms and money need to be turned in.

March 15th - Pick-up from 3-6pm in KP auditorium foyer.

Save the Date: B-ball for Paul Duquette - Friday, March 3rd at Hall HS from 6:00-9:00

In memory of Paul Duquette, KP staff and students will hold a staff vs 8th grade students basketball game to support the installation of the Cairn Garden.

In Case you were wondering: Bristow Middle School Enrollment

Bristow Middle School expects to have a limited number of openings for students entering grades 7 and 8 in the 2016-2017 school year. Bristow Middle School is a school of choice, drawing its diverse population from all neighborhoods in West Hartford. In the 2016-2017 school year Bristow will have an enrollment of 420 students.

Students who attend King Philip or Sedgwick Middle Schools, or non-public schools who would like to be part of our enrollment for 7th and 8th grade must apply for inclusion in the process by March 21, 2016. In order to help parents make an informed choice two informational meetings will be held at Bristow Middle School on Monday, March 7, 2016 and Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 6:30 pm. Parents can choose to attend either of these meetings. Students are invited to attend these meetings with their parents. The application form as well as more details about the process for all grades is on our website at
