Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Every year, our students participate in a district-wide art and writing competition designed to provide education about and connection to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s legacy.

As we celebrate Dr. King's 94th birthday, CCSD is pleased to present this video of this year's competition winners showcasing their work and explaining their interpretation of the contest theme, "King's Kindness in Action."

The video premiered Friday morning, Jan. 13, at the annual University of Georgia Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Breakfast. And congratulations again to this year's contest winners, who will be recognized at the Feb. 9 Board of Education meeting.
