The Black Death is a disease circulating in fleas or small rodents. It is a bacteria.It is deadly. The Black Death swept through Europe in the 14th century and killed around 25 million people. It isn't as common today, but it can still happen.

How it spreads

The Black death spreads through fleas, and they can give it to cats.

Who it effects.

It mostly affects women, This organism mostly prays on children between the age of 5-16.

Most common injury done to victim

This was followed by acute fever and vomiting of blood. Most victims died two to seven days after initial infection. David Herlihy identifies another potential sign of the plague: freckle-like spots and rashes which could be caused by flea-bites.
