A Note From The Principal
George and Veronica Phalen Leadership Academy Families,
Welcome back GVP Families! I hope that this newsletter finds everyone doing well and refreshed from their summer break. It’s hard to believe that the start of school is here! We have been working hard to prepare to provide our scholars with the highest quality educational programming we can. With everyone’s help, together we can make this school year an outstanding experience for our scholars.
Please spend some time getting your child back into their school routine. Continue to reinforce the value of having good study skills, striving to always do their best, the importance of completing their assigned homework, getting a good night’s sleep, eating a healthy breakfast, reading at least 15 minutes/day, etc. Parents play a vital role in their child’s successful school experience.
Along with parent involvement, I believe communication is extremely important. Communications are frequently updated on our school website and social media outlets. Be sure to stay up to date with our newsletters and social media updates for important dates and upcoming events.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at 317-333-6980 or at jcarrion@phalenacademies.org.
In education,
Javaris Carrion
Principal
