**Students will wear their band shirt in the holiday recording. If they do not have a band shirt, black/red will suffice. Festive accessories are allowed in the video recordings.**

HMS Virtual Holiday Band Concerts

Monday, Dec. 14th, 6pm to Tuesday, Dec. 15th, 6pm

This is an online event.

The Hudson Hawk Bands will present our holiday concerts virtually on Monday, December 14 and Tuesday, December 15. The Advanced Bands will perform on Monday (12/14) at 6:00pm and the Beginner Band will perform on Tuesday (12/15) at 6:00pm. All material will be prerecorded and streamed on Google Meet at the time of the concert.


Use your student's GISD login and the nickname hmsholidayconcert to join the meeting. Feel free to invite family/friends to join in on the meeting and get in the holiday spirit!

Holiday Social Event

Be on the lookout later this week for more information about a holiday social event. We are awaiting final approval, but are planning on outdoor movie showings on Thursday & Friday, December 10 & 11. If approved, the movies will start at 6pm both nights, and students will have to sign up for one night or the other to attend. Thursday's showing will be Elf and Friday's will be The Polar Express. More info to come!

Helpful Info/Reminders

Charms Resolution

Log in to Charms using the school code hudsonsoundmachine and your student's password. Passwords for brand new students should be the student ID with 6 digits only. If you cannot get logged on, please contact Mrs. Becker. She has discovered a new way to reset passwords!

You can click the "finances" button and pay fall band fees using Paypal. If you have logged in and are paying band fees, but your student has a credit on their account, the easiest thing to do is to make a miscellaneous payment. You can specify what the payment is for since it will be for the remaining balance and not the entire Fall fee. Then you can "request a transfer" of that payment to go to the fall fees.


School-owned instrument fees will still be paid in Skyward this year. We are having a little trouble getting that set up correctly since this is a change from previous years. We made some headway last week and hope to be completely set up by the end of this week. Stay tuned for more info!
