Everything you need to know from TBE Special Ed Team
ISS Teacher of the Month
Ms. Emily Ridgely is our "newest" teacher. This year, Emily is our SSN (Significant Support Needs) teacher. However, she has been supporting students with special needs for the past 8 years here at TBE. She began her career as Mrs. Fulwider's Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Last year, she was our Mild Moderate Learning Specialist.
Emily has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders and Speech Science from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She also holds a graduate level certificate in Teaching Students with Autism from the University of Northern Colorado. Emily is a life long learner and never seems to stop finding excellent and pertinent activities for her students.

We are very lucky to continue to have Emily as part our team!
Emily has designed an amazing "Tree House" in her room- please stop by at conferences to see what is buzzing in SSN!
ISS Fund Raiser
The students in Ms Emily's Tree House are selling scented soaps and really awesome necklaces. They are raising money for field trips around the area. In the past, the district did not charge Special Education teams for busing. This year, the district is charging $50 per hour plus mileage. Please encourage your students to tell their friends to buy! buy! buy!
Parent Teacher Conferences Oct 6th and 8th
Here are the links to sign up for conferences. Please be sure to take time to meet with your child's teacher. The ISS team tends to let the general ed teachers take the lead on these meetings. We hope to see you either on the 6th or the 8th.
