Reopening Update
We opened our school this morning to TK-2 students, and we were thrilled to see so many smiling eyes. Thank you all for your patience as we all learn to navigate this new way of schooling with masking, distancing, shorter in-seat times and lots of pick up and drop off changes. Please remember to administer a health check at home and keep your child home if they have ANY COVID symptoms and/or a fever.
We look forward to opening up for grades 3-5 next week on Monday, March 8, 2021.
For drop off and pick up, please remember to pull all the way to the top of the circle before stopping. At pick up time, we will have staff with radios calling for each child. Please remain in your vehicles, and we will ensure your child gets safely to your car. Please have a spot ready on the passenger side. Students can ONLY enter and exit from the passenger side of the vehicle.
State Testing Updates
The Summative ELPAC assessment will be administered to all TK-5 English Language Learners at Mammoth Elementary School. This test is administered to students to determine English language proficiency, and it is based on the California English Language Development Standards. Parents can find more information online at https://www.elpac.org/resources/parent-resources/.
CAASPP
All students in grades 3-5 will be participating in state testing this school year. Students will be taking the CASSPP tests in English and Math, and 5th grade students will be taking the CAST test for science as well. Please read the attached information about remote testing this school year. Please see the link below for the spring parent letter.
