Hello Coker Families,
What a great and amazing week at Coker! Tuesday, we had Parent Orientation and WATCH D.O.G. sign-up/orientation. It was wonderful to see all the support from our dads. We are thankful for your time and commitment to our school, and look forward to seeing each of you soon!
On Friday, we had Grandparent's Day. We had 472 visitors come to eat lunch and attend the Book Fair with their student(s). It was simply incredible to see such a turn out. We sold over $4500 in books at the Book Fair. I know the kids are already enjoying reading those books!
None of these great activities would have been possible with out the help and support of our fabulous PTA. If you haven't done so already, please think about joining the Coker PTA, and don't forget to do your DPS volunteer clearance. We have such great opportunities to volunteer, and we would love for you to be a part of them.
Please remember to check your student's agenda/folder each day, and don't forget to fill out his/her reading log. Each grade level requires reading minutes each week.
Thank you all for your support.
