Reel History Final

Favorite is Braveheart

My favorite is Braveheart because they stood up for themselves. The British tried to take them over but they did not let them. They did not respect the British at all. They fought for what they beleived in. The British tried to take the Scottish over but they fought for their independance.

The film Cinderella man made biggest impact

This film made me realize the problems of the great depression. This film showed the real problems from the great depression and showed how hard it was to make money. It also showed the harsh way businesses had for makin money. James Bradock had three children and was stuggilng making money through boxing because he was injured. Then he finally got his chance and he came back and eventually beat the heavyweight champion.

Least Favorite was least interesting

I thought this story was boring and mundane. I thought it could have been more interesting. It never caught my attention with anything that happened. There was not an exciting climax. In this story it tells about the struggles of the settlers in America. The Indians did not like the fact they were coming in.

WW2 Era was most interesting

This was interesting because it was more modern. It was a lot of fighting which is fun to watch. That stuff also effects today a lot. It was also fun watching the USA bouce back after Pearl Harbor and become a power house. We stood up for ourseleves and fought to avenge the deaths of Pearl Harbor. The Japansese had no idea what they were getting themselves into.

Shaping

I think it shaped us because we had hard times and we learned to come out of it stronger. We learned how to deal with tribulation and that has given us the success we have today. We also have bounced back from attacks like Pearl Harbor. Through bad things we always come out strong and I enjoyed watching that. It was also interesting seeing how World War Two helped our economy with the new working factories.

Shaping my Image

I used to view America as a country who has alwasy been nice and easy to be in. Now I realize people fought for this. People lost their lives so I can live nicely. This country really did go throught the great depression and multiple wars. We have always come out strong at the end and it was fun to watch. Watching people go through trouble but still come out on top is something to respect.
