Calling All 9th Grade Families!

We are serving dinner to all 9th graders and their families on November 10 from 6 pm to 7:30. Families will visit with teachers and see what is happening with our newest high school students. This is a casual meet-n-greet with celebrations and goals for our freshman shared with everyone. We have also mailed out flyers to all freshman families with more details.

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Jamie Krempa at jamie.krempa@fwisd.org

We look forward to seeing you there!

Teacher Wins Award

This past Thursday, our very own Dr. Emily Saenz was awarded one of the 16 Academic Chairs for Teaching Excellence. Specifically, Dr. Saenz, our lead Choir and Drama teacher, won the

Bayard H. Friedman Chair for Teaching Excellence in Performing Arts.

Dr. Saenz was recognized in a surprise ceremony last week when she was presented with this coveted award by district leadership, campus administration, her students, and her husband.

The Golden Knights to Land at BMHS!

Benbrook High School students will get the chance to witness the aerial feats of the esteemed Golden Knights! The Golden Knights are a parachute team that originated in 1959 and adopted the 'Golden Knight' title in 1962 to honor the two gold medals the team had won up to that point. Since then, the parachute team has performed all over the world, and on November 9th, they will be landing at Benbrook Middle-High!
