All Sinfonia and Camerata students will report to the Orchestra room for 6th and 7th periods to watch a Houston Symphony Quartet Perform as a part of our HSO Residency.

Our in class recitals will begin next Wednesday, 2/5 and end on Friday, 2/7. Students have known about this since the beginning of October when they received their assigned solo.

All students in the Program will play their entire solo for the class, while both Directors and students give feedback. This will be a Major Exam grade.

We will be having Game Night next Friday, 2/7. Our Officer Leadership Team will be putting together some activities - please consider staying after school that day to have some fun!! Snacks will be provided and we are accepting candy and chips donations as well.

UIL Solo and Ensemble is Saturday, 2/22 at Katy High School. Students have their assigned time slot. Please ensure that your student arrives at KHS no later than 30 minutes prior to their performance time. Students should wear formal attire.

Our Pre UIL Full Orchestra Concert will be on Thursday, 2/20 at 7pm in the MRHS PAC.

All students in the MRHSO will perform on this concert! Concert dress is formal attire. We have hired two professional judges to work with your students.

Student call time is 6pm sharp!

Omar Juarez (10th grade) and Joseph Escobar (9th grade) are both All State Orchestra Students! Please wish them luck as they get ready to perform at TMEA's 100th Centennial Celebration this year!!
