ELL Resources

Websites to help our ELLs!

TumbleBooks is an e-book website for students (accessible through Nanuet Public Library). Every e-book has audio (which can be turned off) so ELLs can listen to the story and hear the English language being read. Text is highlighted as it is read so students can follow along. Some e-books are available in other languages too!

StoryPlace is a website available in both English and Spanish. It features "Topsy Turvy Tales," interactive fables with activities. There is also a Pre-school library focusing on animals with online, print, and parent activities.

Agenda Web

Agenda Web provides animated short stories with subtitles for children to learn English.
