TumbleBooks
TumbleBooks is an e-book website for students (accessible through Nanuet Public Library). Every e-book has audio (which can be turned off) so ELLs can listen to the story and hear the English language being read. Text is highlighted as it is read so students can follow along. Some e-books are available in other languages too!
StoryPlace
StoryPlace is a website available in both English and Spanish. It features "Topsy Turvy Tales," interactive fables with activities. There is also a Pre-school library focusing on animals with online, print, and parent activities.
ABCya
ABCya is an educational game website for students K-5 that spans more than just reading and math. The website provides audio to help students and offers foundational skills games.
Hello World
Hello World provides games, songs, worksheets, activities, and puzzles featuring audio and closed captions. This website can also be used to learn languages other than English!
Starfall
Starfall is a phonics based educational website that teaches students to read.
Agenda Web
Agenda Web provides animated short stories with subtitles for children to learn English.
