The J-Hawk Experience
Info you need to know for week of September 5 - September 8!
Messsage from the principal
These first two weeks have been terrific in so many ways. Staff and students have come together to set a tone of positivity, connectedness, and learning. Thanks to all who are making this happen.
Our UHS Faculty Book Club is currently reading Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance by Angela Duckworth. In this book, Duckworth shares her findings around those qualities and actions that help people to be successful in life. Specifically, she writes, "They (highly successful people) not only had determination, they had direction." Each day, I hope you set out to work hard and connect to your passion.
Sincerely,
Tim Carver
Principal
