Thanksgiving Vacation will be here before we know it on November 21st - 25th! Be sure to enjoy the beauty of fall with your children. This time of year is a wonderful time to get outdoors and play in the fall weather. Since we are a Tree City-we are blessed to have many beautiful trees to watch change colors. The area around the Mike Deak walking track is the McAlester Arboretum, which is a fancy name for a tree museum. Many of the trees are labeled so your child can learn the names of the trees. It would be a simple, but fun thing to do together. Plus, there is a new playground located there now to enjoy. Take a picnic to top off the experience!!
