Team of the Week - Special Education
Our special education team works with students with a variety of academic or behavior needs. They cover all grade levels, K-6, and change their schedules numerous times each year. After every ARD or any new student enrolls, their "world" can change!
Fun Facts:
Jeremy Hipo and his wife are both teachers. They earned their master's degrees at the same time, just before they became first-time parents!
Michelle Agee's husband is a School Resource Officer in Quinlan ISD.
Rachel St. John-Gilbert is a published author.
Energy Shutdown
Thanks to all for helping with the Winter Break Energy Shut-Down. I will let you know as soon as I hear if we were 100% compliant or not. If so, we will all get an extra jeans day!

Great Things Happening at Hartman!
Kelley Cavin did a great job of using manipulatives and group work to teach students to compare fractions with unlike denominators.
Dolores Gaertner used a strategy she calls "The Nutty Professor." Five students line up in front of the class and answer a question about science. One word per student until the question is answered!

Thought for the Week
“We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day.”
