Earthy Crafty Kids Facts and Truths
- Kinesthetic learning (also known as tactile learning) is the learning style which are being implemented in most of our schools today allowing the right hemisphere of the brain to come to live.Its a learning style in which learning takes place by the student carrying out a physical activity, rather than listening to a lecture or watching a demonstration.
- Physiologically, the human brain consists of 2 parts, the left and the right hemisphere. The left brain is used in logical thinking and analytical processes. This is typically what is trained in school work that consists of math, reading and science. The right brain is used in emotional perception, intuition and creativity. It is the right brain that is mainly used when a person is involved in creative endeavors such as making art. It is this part of the brain that typically gets neglected to be trained

Green Crafts
Green Crafts will not only be creating crafts and artwork out of recycled items, but it will also include a lesson about making their environment a better and safer place to live in, showing them how they can help to make a difference. Teaching them the skills to use their imagination to create amazing things out of things around the house. It helps built entrepreneurship skills, learning how to create ideas and finding solutions and turning their ideas into reality. Mom and Dad can also get involved with this by using the websites and links I will provide for some more activities for them to do at home. They will also learn to collect items which can be used for recycled items. You'll be giving your child the tools he needs to spark imagination and creative play.
Nature Crafts
Nature Crafts and Interacting with Nature is important to children’s development in every major way - ntellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and physically. Therefore, changes in our modern built environments should be made to optimize children’s positive contact with nature. The crafts or projects that will be done from Nature will be made from items collected by the children when they are home letting them get outside to search for interesting items in the environment around them, I will also be collecting items with them in there environment at school and let their imaginations go wild by creating something unique with the items they collected. A brief lesson on Nature will also be given with websites and links they can go visit to learn more at home.
Educational Crafts
One of the Focus Points every month will be to do a Educational Craft which will allow the children to visualize a part of their education through arts and crafts. Fun Crafts
Fun Crafts offers children to realize they don't need fancy toys or equipment to have new experiences. They can use everyday things around them. Children being praised for something they created from their own imagination makes them want to use their creativity more, and it will help them feel good about themselves.Children who feel good about themselves tend to: learn more easily and make more effort to achieve get into less trouble get on well with others make friends more easily feel happier and more secure. Every month they will be creating something they want to create for themselves or for someone else.
