This has been a challenging school year for many reasons, but I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the support of our parents and the responsibility, respect, and grit shown by our students. Thank you all.

The Amazing Effects of Gratitude

If you're looking for something to keep your brain exercised over the break, try this ;)

Language Arts- Remote Learning

We wrapped up our work with Hidden Dangers of the Great Barrier Reef with, of course, a little writing! We practiced crafting strong introductory sentences, and then we wrote detail sentences showing contrast and using evidence from the text.

Social Studies - Remote Learning

We discussed how people may have felt from the perspectives, or point of view, of Patriots, Loyalists, Minutemen, and Redcoats during the Revolutionary War. Our class learned about the Sons of Liberty, George Washington as a general, and Paul Revere. We wrapped up the week with a virtual field trip to the Revolutionary War Museum. Take a virtual trip there by clicking on the button below!

Math- Remote Learning

It was review and Show What You Know week! Congratulations, everyone, for passing the 2-step addition and subtraction word problems quiz! When we come back from break we'll start tackling solving 2-step multiplication and division word problems. We've got this!

Science--Remote Learning

We wrapped up our study of human body systems this week. After break we'll learn what heredity is and how it gives us our physical traits.
