What are you thankful for this season?
I am also thankful for our amazing PHE staff. They have been through a ton of change and growth, but have persevered through everything we have thrown at them. They are loving, patient, and dedicated to our students and each other.
Also, I am appreciative of our students and community. You all have done so much to support our school this year. Thank you for your patience, kinds words, and treats thus far. They are appreciated!

ANNUAL PHE THANKSGIVING LUNCH on Friday, November 4
Student meals are $2.90 and guests are $4.00 (cash or check only). No debit/credit cards are accepted on campus. Cards may be used at this site to make payments on your student's account.
The menu on Friday will include these main entrée options: turkey, BBQ chicken, grilled cheese, or salad with the sides of mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, gravy, cranberry sauce, and a roll. Dessert will be a pumpkin mousse. Yum!

Where's Mrs. Joanna?
Some of you may have heard, but we wanted to share some bittersweet news. Our amazing Mrs. Joanna is retiring after 18 years at PHE and 23 years in Leander ISD. A well-deserved retirement. She and her husband, David, recently sold their home of thirty years and are preparing to move. In an effort to get ready, she is taking some time off to pack and organize. We will be hosting a retirement party for her on Thursday, December 15 and you all will be welcome to join us! More information to come. While Mrs. Joanna is off campus, please remember to call the front office with any transportation changes or student needs. Thank you!

PHE Veterans Day- Friday, November 11
To all of our veterans and active service members: we will be celebrating Veteran's Day on Friday, November 11th where you are welcome to join us for breakfast at 7:10 AM (see prices below) and a special Veteran's Day Husky Huddle in the gym at 7:30 AM. We will also be playing a very special slide show in our front foyer hallway.
If you know a veteran or active service member, please email us a picture (jpg) to be used in our slideshow. Send pictures to Laura Armour laura.armour@leanderisd.org. In order to be included in this year's slideshow, we will need all pictures emailed by Friday, November 4. If you have submitted a picture in the past, it will already be included.
