What's on your mind?
Now that we have fully transitioned to home-based learning for the rest of this school year, we wanted to reach out and do a quick "check-in." Thanks for taking a moment to share your thoughts in our quick "Thought Exchange" survey.

Minor change to academic calendar
- The last day of school will be Friday, June 19. It is an early release day, as originally scheduled.
- Next Friday, May 22nd is a non-student day. Teachers and most school-based staff will not be working and school work will not be assigned.
We realize this will not have a big impact on families given the current situation with home-based learning. However, we wanted to make you all aware of these changes as they do impact our teachers' and other school staff members' schedules. The updated academic calendars are posted on the website.

Important traditions continue at Bremerton High School
Did you see the Department Awards "assembly" and the Knighting Ceremony that were both shared on Bremerton Knights TV last week?
On Monday, BHS hosted a "drive-thru" event for seniors to pick up their caps and gowns, honor cords, diploma covers, etc. Check out the video and photos below!

StandUp for Kids
StandUp for Kids Kitsap County has supported local young people ages 12-24 for almost 30 years. Their goal is to assist local homeless and at-risk youth by providing the necessary needs to survive; food, clothes, hygiene items, school supplies, etc. With every encounter they also let the students know they are never alone.
During the school closure, the need for supplies provided by StandUp for Kids is even greater. For information, or to make a donation, please call (360) 204-0365. Below is a list of items most needed. You can also make a monetary donation at https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/
