What is a Poetry Slam?

traditional and non-traditional poetry and verse
original songs/lyrics, rap, hip-hop
Rules....
You may only attend during Mustang Morning, your scheduled lunch, or with a class.
It takes lots of hard work and creativity to write an original poem or song. It also takes courage and initiative to perform an original piece in front of your peers.
**Show respect for the audience and performers!**
