Reminder:
1) Lockdown- Police activity in the neighborhood- close blinds, lock doors, stay away from windows and doors
2) Shelter in Place- Perimeter of building locked, students and adults can move freely in the building.
3) Earthquake- hold on to leg of chair and then evacuate safely
4) Fire- Evacuate to playground immediately
Homework Folders
Are you leaving Junk in the Staff Room? Then stop and read please....
1) If something is old, dirty, smelly, obsolete, out of date, please just put it in the garbage
2) If you think the item is valuable then it would best go directly to someone (ie outdoor activity equipment? give to Coach Jose, lower grade books? give to a lower grade teacher).
As with leaving dishes in the sink, ask yourself, "Who will be cleaning this up?". Don't just dump stuff without a plan for who might want it....
By the end of next week, Chelsea and Samara will cleaning off the junk table and tossing things.
If you are interested in stuff on the table, please take it by Friday.
Everything You Wanted to Know about Glenview, but Were Afraid to Ask....
Got Furniture? Need Furniture? Broken furniture?
2. If something is broken, put it in the hall, marked, "Broken".
3. If the item is too heavy, put it in the hall and indicate where you want it moved to (Stage, another room, etc.) and custodians will move it.
4. If you are keeping a table and chairs in the hallway for small group work, please label with your room number so custodians do not move it.
Reminder- No Preps or Professional Development the Week of August 21
We have shortened days on Monday-Weds. You may want to meet with your grade level.
We will have a quick check in in Room 15 at 2pm on the first day to make sure we all survived and to discuss any quick procedures issues.
