CHANGE THE WORLD DAY SEPTEMBER 15TH
If you are new to JBE, Change the World Day is a day where we encourage students to bring in change (or cash) to help make a "change" in their community and world. There is no set amount for the donation, the idea is that if we pull together we can make a positive impact in our world. Each Change the World Day will have a theme and a charity.
This month our donation will go to our local NRG Backpack Program. Participating students can wear a hat of their choice.
Thank you for helping our students learn to make a difference in their world!
Wildcat Fridays
Wildcat Fridays include:
October 1st to celebrate our Title 1 Family Night Under the Lights event! This is also Hero Night honoring our Veterans. Feel free to wear Red, White, and Blue, or Wildcat clothes.
October 15th to celebrate Homecoming!
Help us spread school spirit by participating in our Wildcat Fridays!

Breakfast and lunch are free this year. If students want a second entree, it will be charged as a full lunch. Please notify Mrs. Chris by sending a note or e-mailing cfuthey@mc-wildcats.org if you give permission for second lunch.

Breakfast and Lunch Menu
You can find the most up to date breakfast and lunch menus on the district website on the left side by clicking on the green box that says school menus. Make sure you choose Jonesburg Elementary! You can also click on this link to see the menus.
Attendance Letters & School Communication
I know that there is a certain amount of anxiety involved with receiving attendance letters from the school. Please know that we are mandated to mail attendance letters after your students 3rd, 5th and 8th absence. This DOES NOT mean that we are going to call the truancy officer. On the back of the letter you will see the dates of your students absence and the detail that we noted when you called in. As always, we will be in touch if we have specific concerns. Please continue to communicate with our office about your students attendance.
