A collection of rights granted to the author of a piece of work.

The Five Licences

1)Public Domain: Isn’t protected by copyright.
Ex.The creator donated the work into the public domain
2)Freeware: Copyrighted work that you can use, copy, or give away for free.
Ex. Safari

Copyrighted work that is similar to freeware but if you want the permanent/full version, you must pay for it. ex. Minecraft Lite.

4) All Rights Reserved: May be used by the purchaser according to the exact detail spelled out in the licence agreement. ex. Grand theft auto

5)Open Source: Software that includes the source code, the idea that someone can improve upon it. ex. Wipedia
