How to Host a Keto-Kocktail Mixer


How to invite… * created a FB and/or Smore invitation * invite ONLY people you can follow up with immediately (I like to invite 10 at a time, and then PM or text immediately, then invite 10 more.) * DONT prejudge. Invite everyone you know within 100 mile radius (unless they’ve previously asked to be excluded from future invitations. Respect.) * make sure you include something to peak the person you are inviting’s interest. ex: PCOS article if you know they struggle with that. * encourage them to bring two friends and a snack

Salami and cheese rollups

Roasted jalepenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with 1/2 slice bacon (325 degrees for 45-60 minutes, depending on size of jalepenos)

Olive Bar from Whole Foods

Caprese Chicken Skewers (toss cooked and diced chicken in prepared pesto, skewer with fresh mozz and cherry tomatoes)

Reuban “sushi” rolls — deli pastrami, spicy mustard, slice of swiss or provolone, sauerkraut, roll up and slice like sushi

Chips and Salsa (HA!!! Just kidding.)


Recipe!! -- NO BAKE PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE BITES RECIPE:


Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese

½ cup pumpkin purée

4 tbsp to 6 tbsp sweetener of choice (to taste): erythritol granular for low carb (like Swerve), or coconut sugar for primal

1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tsp vanilla extract


Coating Ingredients

⅓ cup pecans, finely minced

2 tbsp sweetener (erythritol granular for low carb & coconut sugar for primal)

1 tsp cinnamon


Directions:


Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.


Using an electric mixer or stand mixer, combine the first 5 ingredients and beat until thoroughly blended.


Freeze the mixture in the bowl or in a round candy mold (or ice cube tray) for 30 minutes or more until firm enough to form into balls.

In a medium bowl combine all the coating ingredients and stir together. Set aside. Using a cookie scoop or your hands, form a ball or mound with the chilled pumpkin cheesecake mixture ( or release from the candy mold).


Roll each cheesecake ball in the coating until covered, and place on lined baking sheet. Re-freeze for 20 minutes or refrigerate until firm, then serve. Store these in the fridge in a covered container

For a 90- minute party….

6:30- 6:45 — Music in background, warm, inviting atmosphere, introduce yourself to EVERY attendee, ask them about themselves, THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU!!! Quick to listen, slow to speak.

6:45 — Gather in living room and watch campfire video.

7:00 — Share a quick testimony or two. If you do two, make sure they are different. ex: one depression, one fat loss. Remind speakers NOT to make medical claims.

7:15 — Stream in Abigail and Dr. Heather

8:00 — Call to action!!! Be ready to place orders and ask others to host the following week. Close out.
