WE LOVE OUR BENGALS!!!!!
Growth Mindset
A growth mindset is knowing that your abilities and successes can improve with continued effort, even when working through setbacks and challenges...especially through setbacks and challenges!
Example of a Fixed Mindset: “I’m not a math person.” "I've never been good at that."
Example of a Growth Mindset: “Math was really confusing at first, but I've been working hard and I understand it better now.”
A positive growth mindset is especially helpful when we face challenges. Many studies show that children who have a growth mindset behave differently when confronted with a challenge, and end up learning from their mistakes instead of being paralyzed by them.

PBIS Staff Recognition Week - January 23-27
Last year the kids asked if they could turn the tables, and recognize and reward staff for following the 4 BE's! So now we have our annual PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) Staff Recognition Week! Students will recognize the various staff members with tickets when they see staff showing the expectations. These tickets will go into a drawing for prizes throughout the week.
This is where we need your help! Please consider donating some fun prizes for our staff - $5-10 gift cards for area restaurants or businesses, fun stationary, colorful pens, yummy candy, candles, lotions.... keep it simple and fun! If you are able to help us out, just send your item in with your child and label it "PBIS Staff Week"
Thank you for always supporting our students and our staff!
Kindergarten students working on beginning and ending sounds.
