On Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 2 PM - 5 PM Placerita will be hosting Make-up picture day for those students who HAVE NOT taken a picture. If your student has not taken a picture for their school ID card this is the time to do it. This is also the picture that will be used in the yearbook. BEFORE YOU ARRIVE TO CAMPUS...
The Hart District has been using a new health assessment screening process called Safety iPass by CrisisGo, for staff and students that have been coming back onto campus. For students to come onto campus on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, parents must complete a self-assessment Health Screening for their students. The parent will receive an email from Crisis Go. In the email you will need to click on the report button and to answer the questions and hit submit. Attached to this email you will find screenshot pictures of the emails and Safety iPass screen from Crisis Go that we receive as staff each morning before reporting to campus. Your email and Safety iPass will be very similar, so it is our hope that these pictures are helpful. The email should arrive in your in-box at 6 a.m. Please complete it on the days you will be coming to campus. Please note that before students can exit their car or walk on campus to get their picture taken they must show the green Entry square that is granted once you answer the questions through the reporting system.

Very Important Information about our Book Returns / Información muy importante sobre nuestras devoluciones de libros
We know that we are in a very difficult time to keep up with all our books and being able to make the time to return them. However, we have some classes that will not be able to provide the reading materials for students if we do not get all our books back so we can turn around and check them out to a different group of students. Another thing to remember is that missing textbook situations stay on your transcript all the way through High School and are one of the things that can create serious problems down the road (like High School diplomas being held or transcripts not being released... Yikes!) so please help us collect all these so we can continue to serve all students with reading materials. Thanks for your help with this. Note the information below...
1. Any student who has any of the following novels needs to return them the week of 2/16, if possible:
Stargirl
Invisible Lines
Freak the Mighty
The Color of my Words
The Giver
Peak
(The first four novels were checked out to 7th graders either in August or for 2nd quarter. The final two novels were checked out to 8th graders at the same times.)
2. Books may be returned to the front office between the hours of 7:30 AM and 2:45 PM. There will be a cart up front for collections.
3. The library will be sending out overdue notices to students and parents. The note will show what is overdue and the replacement cost if the item has been lost.
Thank you!

Freak the Mighty
El color de mis palabras
El dador
Pico
¡Gracias!
